DESCRIPTION:2026 April General Membership Meeting and ROTC/JROTC Recognition and Awards Banquet.\nThis is one of the most important things we do all year. Please consider attending or at least sponsoring one or two cadets to attend.\nThe Chapter has made the commitment to sponsor a number of cadets and cadre/staff. We feel this is important to get the cadets to the ceremony. This is a significant event for the cadets. I still remember getting the award when I was a cadet.\nThe Chapter is paying for 47 cadets and staff\, donating $100 to each JROTC Detachment. and awarding two $500 ROTC scholarships. We need your attendance and your donations.\nThe success of the OWRC ROTC/JROTC Banquet depends on the willingness and generosity of the members of OWRC to sponsor ROTC/JROTC cadets. I ask that you review your circumstances and\, if you are able\, consider sponsoring one or more cadets for the banquet. Each cadet meal is valued at $45. Please take the opportunity to sponsor one or more cadets.\nYou will notice that the price has risen to $45 a meal. I apologize for this\, but everything is more expensive now.
