OWRC ROTC/JROTC Recognition and Awards Banquet

2026 April General Membership Meeting and ROTC/JROTC Recognition and Awards Banquet.
This is one of the most important things we do all year. Please consider attending or at least sponsoring one or two cadets to attend.
The Chapter has made the commitment to sponsor a number of cadets and cadre/staff. We feel this is important to get the cadets to the ceremony. This is a significant event for the cadets. I still remember getting the award when I was a cadet.
The Chapter is paying for 47 cadets and staff, donating $100 to each JROTC Detachment. and awarding two $500 ROTC scholarships. We need your attendance and your donations.
The success of the OWRC ROTC/JROTC Banquet depends on the willingness and generosity of the members of OWRC to sponsor ROTC/JROTC cadets. I ask that you review your circumstances and, if you are able, consider sponsoring one or more cadets for the banquet. Each cadet meal is valued at $45. Please take the opportunity to sponsor one or more cadets.
You will notice that the price has risen to $45 a meal. I apologize for this, but everything is more expensive now. Thank you for buying a ticket and for your donation. When you order your meal use the line that leads with “OWRC”. Same for any guests you may bring.

Beef Sirloin Tips
Sliced beef tenderloin charbroiled, bell peppers, onions and mushrooms
served over egg noodles covered in beef au jus.
Chicken Marsala
Breaded chicken breast, Italian herbs, sweet Marsala mushroom sauce.
Rigatoni Marinara (Vegetarian Option)
Rich house marinara, penne rugate, melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
Meals include Starch, Vegetable, Salad, Bread Sticks, Coffee, Iced Tea & Lemonade

Roasted Redskin Potatoes
Quartered red skin potatoes buttered and tossed in seasoned salt and house spices. Oven baked to golden brown.
Zucchini Mariana
Fresh zucchini stewed with onions, red wine, and house marinara. Finished with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs
